Everyone knows Elon. World’s richest man. Has created several successful companies like Zip2, Paypal, Tesla and SpaceX. Bought Twitter and is running multiple companies at once as the CEO. He is a living example of the phrase impossible is nothing.
Why listen to Elon Musk?
Musk has been able to create several highly valuable companies. Currently, Tesla is worth about 600 billion USD and SpaceX about 130 billion USD. That alone is a reason enough to listen to him. However, his capabilities and commitment are out of this world. Being able to run several companies of that scale simultaneously as a CEO is a feat that not many people can do. Furthermore, it is widely accepted that Musk has been able to drive forward whole industries (cars & space flight).
What can you learn from Elon Musk?
Musk is a visionary. His career shows you a higher level of doing things and a new bar for what is possible. Look at how he presents his vision. Listen to how he is thinking about the world and the future.
He is definitely an outlier and could be called a genius. Thus, not everyone should aim to do what he has done. But his example and ideas can be an inspiration to all of us.
